Fish Biriyani Recipe

Ingredients:
- Fish (pre-fried) 500 to 750 gms
Dana Basmati Rice 500 gms - Oil half to one cup ie
Curd 1 cup - Onion 3
- Ginger / Garlic 2tsp
- Chilli powder 2tsp
- Cumin ground 1tsp
Coriander Powder 1tsp - Coconut 2tsp
- Green Chillies 4 (chopped)
- Food Color and Kewra 1/2 cup
Method:
Fry onion to brown. Add all the above spices with two cups of water. Add curd,
coconut and fish. Cook until fish gets tender in thicker curry and keep aside.
Separately boil rice in 4 cups of water. Drain water when rice is half tender. Place
a layer with half of the rice in a separate pan. Spread cooked fish and curry over
it and then the balance rice on top. Sprinkle food color and kewra. Cover with lid
and cook on low heat for 10 to 15 minutes until the rice gets fully tender. Serve
hot with raita and salad.
